Tourists, wine lovers, but also wine professionals, can walk through the interactive rooms with a glass of an "unknown" wine, trying to recognize the main characteristics by appreciating the colours, the aroma and the taste of Chianti Classico, thus associating this famous wine to an equally characteristic and fascinating territory. From 2022 the itinerary also includes the sensory room dedicated to Chianti Classico PDO EVO oil with the possibility of learning to recognize the characteristics of a quality oil.
The sensorial pathway is enriched by a permanent exhibit, depicting the three hundred years of the Chianti appellation history, from its origins, when Cosimo de’Medici’s 1716 edict delimited the production area, to the present. The visitor can also enjoy videos of the territory made by drones and touch screens describing some important features of Chianti region.

This experience can be done every day, based on the opening timeschedule, up to 30 min before the closing hour; upfront reservation is not needed except for big groups (>10 people).
